The Retail Butcher Shop of the Year Award by The Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC) recognises the Independent Local Butcher Shop that demonstrates a highly professional, innovative, aspirational and sustainable business enterprise. Judging takes into account every aspect of a modern retail butcher shop including: business management and planning; human resource practices; marketing and promotional strategies; and effective customer relations management.

The winner was announced at The Victorian Industry Awards Dinner at Aerial – South Wharf on Saturday October 14th.
